I am Elwira Bernaciak a contemporary

and innovative visual artist.

I was born and raised in Poland, I came to Ireland in 2005.

In 2018 I received Irish citizenship.

I become Irish Artist living in Carlow town.

In March 2015, I registered my art company BElwiraArtCrafts and became

a tutor for relaxing art workshops in Carlow.

Since then, my artistic activity has been developed very intensively and my art presents at various shows, festivals and exhibitions in Ireland - Limerick, Dublin, Wexford, Carlow, etc. and other countries - Italy, France, England and USA .

Painting is my passion which turned into work.

In my original acrylic paintings you will find an interesting texture and a huge palette of colours. My art is inspired by life and emotions that surround me thanks to this my painting is wide and diverse.

I put my soul into each of the created paintings and that makes them unique and not repetitive piece of art.

                                             My philosophy:

"Art comes from the heart, thoughts, eyes and guides the hand of the artist".

In addition to presenting my painting at solo exhibitions and group shows some of my works are involved in various types of programs, publications and competitions.
In the publication of Issue 1 Vol2from January2019 in the creative people magazine "Jaamizin Creative" Painting - "Sisters"

took first place in this publication in the time of public voting.

Two of my artworks took part and were published in the catalog

"Polish Artist in Ireland " during Polska Eire in Gorey. (

I took part in the plebiscite of the Polish radio TRD Dublin

"Artist Wanted 2019".

Three of my paintings qualified for this plebiscite.

I am also the author of the book

" Zawartość umysłu zabrana od serca"

( "Contents of the Mind Taken from the Heart" ) which was published in June 2021 by the Polish publishing house Poligraf , and is written in Polish.

The book does not contain any artistic content but it motivates to action and find your power. My personal story, tragedies and successes to motivate others to act.

You can be who you want and live the life you want, as long as you learn to convince your mind that you are worth it and use your hidden power.
I believe that it will soon be translated into English.

 Thank you for your visit.

Artist profile

A little away from me to you.

The world that surrounds me and changes occurring in it have an impact on my inspiration, which is shown in my art.

I love using many layers of paint in my art to make the final effect of my painting unique.

From time to time, collections of my paintings change their appearance and message. I am a woman who feels the world and emotions differently every day. Just as the weather changes and the seasons, my art flourishes in different colours and emotions.

Art is varied and expressing different emotions and creativity is like a breath for me every new day.

I am also happy to do work on request from a client. Creating for commission is a very pleasant part of my painting, because I look for the soul and emotion of the client to best convey it in painting.

Your need to feel at one with the colour and shape in the art is very important. Each of us is individual and your space and its decoration should be in harmony with your well-being and comfort.

By browsing my artworks, you will see my style and creative diversity. So, if you are here with me, I think you will easily find something for yourself.

I invite you to spend some time in my online gallery.

The painting in the gallery has been divided into

  • -characters / figures

  • - animals

  • - views and nature

  • - abstraction and surfaces

I classify the artwork created in general as abstract-surrealistic/realistic,

but thanks to this small division it will be easier for you to find works that you can adjust to yourself.

 All the best

Elwira Bernaciak
